When the time has come to remove your project from the Firmhouse platform, there are some steps to take.

Below you will find a checklist of tasks, questions or just important things to keep in mind.

Checklist

  • Are there active subscribers, pending cancellations or non-paying?
If so, make sure they are cancelled.

  • If subscribers have products, consider how you will handle this.
Refund, offer buy out, let them keep the device for free?

  • Make an export of any data you will need, such as subscribers, orders, payments or invoices.

  • If you have PSP accounts (Mollie, Stripe, etc.) that were used only for Firmhouse, consider if you want to close them.

  • Is there a possibility for chargebacks in the coming year? Consider how you want to handle those.

  • If you have a custom checkout or email domain pointing to Firmhouse, move it to a different service or close it. Note that old links in emails will stop working.

Usually access to the Firmhouse project is removed one month after the contract ends, to allow for the export of data. Please contact support if you have any questions.
