When working with Firmhouse, you have several checkout options. In this article, we'll review the options and how they work.

Firmhouse checkout

Firmhouse creates a checkout page for your project by default. This page can be customized to fit your needs and company brand and has pre-built field validation. You can redirect customers to this checkout page from any e-commerce website.

To start with the Firmhouse checkout, you can go to Checkout pages for Products & Plans.

Shopify Native Checkout

If your e-commerce store is built in Shopify, you might want to continue using the Shopify checkout. Our Native Shopify Checkout Integration App makes this possible. The app allows you to use the Shopify checkout for subscriptions with just a few updates to your PDP and cart.

To start configuring Firmhouse with the native Shopify checkout, go to our Installation guide for the Native Shopify Checkout Integration App.

Custom checkout solution

If you have a more customized setup or want more freedom in the customer's checkout journey, you can also build your own checkout page and use the Firmhouse API to send the subscription information to Firmhouse.

You can head over to our Developer Docs to start building your custom checkout solution.
