These Stripe Webhook events need to be enabled to successfully link Stripe to Firmhouse for payment processing

Firmhouse connects to Stripe payments using a Stripe API key. You can connect your subscription payments to the same account or open a new one to keep them separate. This is how it works:

In Stripe:

Create webhook for all events

Go to https://dashboard.stripe.com/webhooks and create a webhook that points to the URL that's shown in the Firmhouse portal. Stripe will then provide you with a "Stripe Endpoint Secret."

The webhook events to enable in Stripe are:

  • charge.succeeded

  • charge.failed

  • charge.pending

  • charge.refunded

  • charge.refund.updated

  • charge.dispute.closed

  • payment_intent.succeeded

  • payment_intent.payment_failed

  • source.chargeable

  • source.failed

In Firmhouse:

  • Select the currency

  • Add your Stripe public API key

  • Add your Stripe secret API key

  • Add Stripe endpoint secret

  • Enable the desired payment methods (ideal, credit cards)
